My name is Veronika Plešková and I have been working in the legal field for more than twelve years (as an attorney since 2012).
On October 1, 2020 I established the law firm of Mgr. Veronika Plešková,LL.M., Attorney-at-Law. For public relations, I also use a business name VP LEGAL (“VP LEGAL“). VP LEGAL is based in Prague, Czech Republic.
Prior to founding VP LEGAL, I worked for more than 11 years for HAVEL & PARTNERS, the largest law firm on the Czech – Slovak market, and for almost one year for the Prague office of Gleiss Lutz (now Schönherr). I also had the opportunity to spend two months as a visiting attorney at one of the largest Spanish law firms Cuatrecasas (at Valencia office).
I acquired my legal education at the Palacký University Olomouc and continued with further studies of LL.M. (Master of Laws) at the University of Salzburg and McGeorge School of Law in the USA.
I provide legal services and lecture in Czech, English, and German. On a conversational level, I can also communicate in Spanish.
I am a member of the Czech Bar Association (since 2009), the European Employment Lawyers Association (since 2020) and a member of ParadiGM (since 2021).
During my legal career, I have worked for a wide range of clients: from individuals and mid-size companies to companies belonging to Fortune 500 companies or the Czech Top 100 companies.
