David Stewart is a partner with Griffiths & Partners, and Managing Director of Coriats Trust Company Limited. He qualified as a UK solicitor in 1989, and built a strong reputation as a lawyer in London at Olswang (now CMS), where he was Managing Partner/CEO of the firm (from 2007), until he left in 2014 to join Griffiths & Partners as a partner. At Griffiths & Partners, as well as deploying his international disputes expertise in trust disputes and general litigation matters, David is also focused on building the firm’s trusts and estates practice. In addition, David leads and runs the firm’s allied trust company, Coriats, where he serves the interests of a substantial and diverse client base of wealthy families both on and off the island.
