Mr. Sriro has practiced law in Indonesia since 1996 in the fields of commercial transactions, corporate compliance, foreign investment, m&a, infrastructure and project finance, labor, litigation and maritime and shipping.
Mr. Sriro reads and speaks Indonesian fluently. He is the author of numerous scholarly articles and invited papers and has given more than 30 invited lectures. He served as the reviser to Martindale-Hubbell’s Indonesian Law Digest, with annual revisions from 1999 through 2011. He is also the author of two best-selling references on Indonesian law, “Sriro’s Desk Reference of Indonesian Law” with annual revisions from 2005 through 2011, “Sriro’s Desk Reference of Indonesian Company Law”.
Mr. Sriro received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Michigan in 1987, a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1993 and the Indonesian degree of Magister Hukum (Masters of Law – LLm equivalent) from Universitas Padjadjaran in 2006.
Mr. Sriro is a member of the California State Bar, and is recognized and licensed as a foreign advocate by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia.
