Biography
Safir is on the advisory board of International Facility Management Association, Fashion Design Council of India, Event and Entertainment Management Association, JHS Svendgaard Brands Limited, Brand Musiq Private Limited, Teamwork Arts Private Limited, My Rights LLP, Tarrakki, Fresh Brew, White Willow, Siddhartha Bansal and Royal Fables and additionally holds memberships with national and international organizations.
He has been a member of INTA’s Presidential Task Force on Brand Valuation, and also serves on its Commercialisation of Brands Committee and its first prestigious Research Advisory Council continuously for the second term. He has also been associated with Brands & Innovation Committee, Famous and Well-Known Marks Committee and Trademark Office Practice Committee.
Safir extensively contributes to prestigious national and international publications and is on the editorial panel of many leading journals and magazines focused on commercialization, licensing, franchising and other aspects of Intellectual Property. He also writes frequently for financial dailies and is featured on TV shows on trend forecasting. His book, Chrysalis, has been selected by the jury for launch at Jaipur Literature Festival 2022, a festival that is often touted to be the ‘Biggest Literary Show on Earth’. Chryalis is the first-ever compilation of brand stories elucidating the role IP played in the journey of some of the most illustrious brands in India.
