Matthias Amgwerd has been practising law since 2001 in the legal fieldstelecommunications and media law, competition law, data protection and data security, constitutional and administrative law, legislation, public affairs, regulatory strategy, sports law. Furthermore, he is active in business and industry organisations.
Firm Description
Burkhalter Rechtsanwälte based in Bern with a branch office in Zurich was founded in 1922 and has been operating under its current name since January 2016. Currently, the firm consists of eight lawyers who assist individuals and companies in matters of corporate and commercial law, settlement and restructuring, banking and insurance law, construction and real estate law, corporate and real estate transactions, telecommunication and media law, health law, competition law and forensic work.
In addition to our work as lawyers, we also hold various positions on boards of directors and foundation boards as well as in business and professional associations.
