Biography
Leila Laila is a Partner and the regional head of Alem & Associates’ Franchising, Media & Entertainment and Intellectual Property practices.
She is regionally recognized as a legal expert in the franchising and media industries. Her experience and strategic approach are invaluable when it comes to matters involving intellectual property rights, product and service distribution, and the expansion of related networks.
Leila advises and assists businesses and individuals across a vast range of industries, including hospitality, luxury goods, retail, leisure, education, life science, broadcasting, motion picture and television, publishing, music, digital media, advertising and marketing and real estate development in setting up legal strategies for the creation, distribution, exploitation and expansion of their products and services’ reach, and in concluding transactions and related commercial relationships.
She has advised regional and international key players in the franchising, media, entertainment, and hospitality industries, including international branded hotel operators, fast casual and upscale internationally known restaurant brands, several of the most popular social media platforms, film studios, international and regional broadcasters, producers, publishers and advertisers on a vast range of regulatory matters and high-end related transactions in Lebanon, UAE and Saudi Arabia.
