STARTUP Lisboa invited Teixeira & Guimarães managing partner João de Sousa Guimarães, British Portuguese Chamber of Commerce member of the board, to a debate about the impact of Brexit on startups.

Under the moderation of journalist Mariana Bandeira of Jornal Económico, the challenges were launched in several areas, namely the meaning for a Portuguese Startup operating in the British market that the United Kingdom ceases to belong to the Single Market and the Customs Union, the transfer of international data and its impact with regard to Personal Data and Intellectual Property, the importance of embassy programs to retain and attract entrepreneurs, internationalization to the UK and what are the best strategies.

In a very crowded virtual auditorium, it ended up becoming a knowledge sharing event, with time for the usual question and answer session.
